On behalf of IxDA Nederland, Utrecht School of the Arts and Delft University of Technology, I would like to invite the international interaction design community to hold the Interaction14 conference in the Dutch capital Amsterdam.
Amsterdam is a place of excitement and inspiration for creatives of all stripes. Thousands make their living in the creative industries. This city has the highest number of creatives per square meter in the world. With its varied venues, restaurants and nightlife, Amsterdam is an excellent place to hold Interaction14.
IxDA's main goal is to advance the interaction design discipline. We tried to contribute by organizing Design by Fire Conferences and Cafes since 2007. Our proposal to host Interaction14 in Amsterdam also arises from this goal.
Since my first encounter with the IxDA network, I realized I'd found my tribe. It would be an honor to host the conference and share experiences with colleagues from all continents.
Amsterdam has inspired artists and designers for ages. Let Amsterdam inspire Interaction14.
